If you’re diving in a drysuit and want to make the most of your DIVEVOLK SeaTouch 4 Max, the DIVEVOLK Finger Cot is a brilliant little accessory. Here at Essex Scuba, we know that cold-water diving often means wearing thicker, insulating dry gloves—and unfortunately, those gloves can make touchscreen operation difficult.
That’s where this clever finger cot comes in. It’s specifically designed to provide the conductivity needed to operate the SeaTouch 4 Max touchscreen underwater, allowing you to navigate your phone and control your camera while still wearing your dry gloves.
The finger cot fits securely over your gloved finger and uses a Velcro fastening to keep it comfortably in place. It’s available in two sizes, helping accommodate different glove sizes and thicknesses.
Made from EVA foam with a rubber band, it’s lightweight, simple to use and purpose-built for underwater touchscreen operation. Importantly, DIVEVOLK specifies that it is designed for underwater use only, rather than general land use.
For us, this is one of those inexpensive accessories that can make a surprisingly big difference. There’s no need to remove your dry gloves or struggle with the touchscreen—just fit the finger cot and you can get back to controlling your camera and capturing those fantastic underwater moments.
At Essex Scuba, we think this is an essential little addition for anyone using a SeaTouch housing during UK or cold-water diving. Keep your dry gloves on, keep your hands warm, and still have full control of your smartphone underwater.
